NCIS dvd Spinoff Casts CSI-Lasvegas-Seasons-1-9-DVD-Boxset Alumna, Two Others
The ensemble for CBS' planned NCIS dvd spinoff continues to flesh out. Not long after it was reported that Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J are circling two lead roles, three other characters have been cast.
Louise Lombard, who played CSI-Lasvegas-Seasons-1-9-DVD-BoxsetSofia Curtis for three seasons, has landed what is considered the series' female lead: Clara, a former major in the military police turned investigator.NCIS DVD

Celebrating its 150th episode this season, 24-Hours dvd boxset is one of the most innovative, addictive and acclaimed dramas on television. In its first six seasons, the suspenseful series was nominated for a total of 57 Emmy awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series (2006) and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for star Kiefer Sutherland (2006). Season Six garnered a sixth consecutive Emmy nomination for Sutherland and second consecutive nomination for supporting actor Jean Smart.

The series gets a jumpstart on the clock this fall with24 hours dvd boxset: REDEMPTION, the unprecedented two-hour real-time "Day 7" prequel, airing Sunday, Nov. 23. After the superlative Tudors season 2 of' The Tudors season1-3' (which featured outstanding, Emmy-worthy performances by Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn and Jeremy Northam as Sir Thomas More), I was completely prepared for a "letdown" of sorts for series 3. After all, the true story (Henry VIII's marriage to Jane Seymour, birth of Prince Edward, death of Queen Jane and marriage to Anne of Cleves 2 years after that) goes at a relatively quick 4 years in English history. I was UNprepared for the economic downturn and PeaceArch's (the production company of 'The Tudors') decision to only have 8 episodes for 2009. If you thought Tudors seasons 1-3 dvd were a whirlwind, prepare to be whip lashed by Tudors season 3. Queen Jane's (Annabelle Wallis-in a replacement role from Tudors season 1-3 dvd boxset's Anita Briem) relationship with Henry is so chaste and "pure," and he swears she is his most "beloved" queen (which he also claimed toward Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn). Unfortunately, Queen Jane dies of peripureal fever after giving birth to Prince Edward. Wallis's acting is measured-so measured in fact, you almost forget she is in the scene. She blends too well-unlike the performance given by Anne Stallybrass in the PBS production of 'The Six Wives of Henry VIII,' who captured the proper spirit of meekness and servitude necessary to BECOME Henry's 3rd wife. Joss Stone as Anne of Cleves is a treat-although she is not featured enough in the series. Her scenes are few and far between, but she makes a fantastic impact (witness her scene with Lord Privy Seal Cromwell). There is a passion and fervor in her acting that is nothing but natural ability and talent. I look forward to seeing her more and hopefully she will be back in a guest starring role in Tudors season 1-3 dvd boxset.
